Spring/Summer 2024: Rapture of the Skin. Fashion as a tool for actualization, filtered through the moody romanticism of 1980s neo deco interior design and illustration. The garments are intended to flatten the distinctions between the internal and external lives of the wearer, and allow them to show all parts of themselves at once.

The materials I chose were deliberately multidimensional, from cross dyed satins and slubbed metallic silks to moires and laminated fabrics. Technically, I mixed couture and traditional tailoring techniques with less standard approaches like wet-molding saddlery leather to fit the wearer’s body.
